POSTCARD UPDATE

Indivisible Healdsburg postcard writers sent 4,725 postcards this year!  This is remarkable work, especially in an “off’ election year. We applaud your success.

We wrote to get out the vote for Tom Suozzi and he was successful in a GOP district. The margin in the house just got tighter.

We wrote in support of Judge Janet Protasiewicz, who won a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and in support of the Ohio ballot measure that allows women the constitutional right to choose their healthcare preferences.  Gerrymandered districts were overturned as a result of the courts new makeup.Democracy prevailed with our continued support. Thank you to all who participated.

Our goal for this critical election year is to send as many postcards as possible, in crucially important campaigns, to educate and register voters to preserve our democracy.

As 2024 begins, we will be concentrating on voter education and voter registration, with a focus on California House members designated by Indivisible as the Unrepresentatives.  The Unrepresentatives campaign is a program dedicated to targeting and unseating these members by exposing the truth of their MAGA complicity and by calling attention to their voting records, as well as their positions on issues damaging to democracy.

We will also support the Northeast Arizona Native Democrats as they work within their communities to educate and register voters in Arizona, perhaps the most important battleground in 2024.
