2024 Election

Take Action
Let's Get Together

Indivisible Healdsburg announces an Election 2024 launch Wednesday May 1, 10 am. Please join us for coffee and pastries to reconnect with other members, share thoughts and ideas for expanding our membership. We want to hear your ideas and concerns and share some of ours. We would like to introduce a couple of organizations we are partnering with to increase our impact. They are both working to hold seats and win back Congress: CA Grassroots Alliance and Central Valley Matters.  We need a Congress that will support and work with President Biden to move our agenda forward. Please RSVP below by Monday April29.  Our first gathering is limited to 25 participants so please register.

Action Plan to take on maga

National Indivisible has a plan. Together we want to rebuild the Democratic trifecta so that we can reform the filibuster, codify Roe, and pass Democracy reform. The key to this strategy is to quadruple down on Arizona. Arizona can deliver us 11 electoral college votes, one new Democratic senator, and two new Democratic House members. That gets us almost the entire way to a new Democratic trifecta.

Keep the Senate. Support Ruben Gallego campaign for Arizona’s vital Senate seat. He has represented Arizona in the House and needs our support to defeat Super MAGA Kari Lake who has experience before a camera but not in public service.

Support Women’s Health. A referendum on women’s right to control over her own body is on the ballot in Florida, Alabama and New York. Efforts are in progress to get a referendum on the ballot in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada and South Dakota

Retake the House. There are 18 Republicans in the House, who won districts in the midterms that Joe Biden won in 2020. This handful of representatives ensured that MAGA extremism would claim power in Congress.  They’ve been voting in lockstep with the MAGA majority even though their constituents oppose MAGA extremism.

Indivisible Healdsburg will be following Indivisible National’s lead to do what we can to make sure the 4 Republicans who won districts in California are not re-elected. They don’t represent the voters of their district. And for the next two years, we’re going to hold them accountable for their extremism.  We are writing post cards(see below), texting, making calls and canvassing for candidates that run against the following “Unrepresentatives” in these districts in 2024.

     Michelle Steel (CA-45)
     John Duarte (CA-13)
     David Valadao (CA-22)
     Mike Garcia (CA-27)
We believe these are winnable contests. Following is a link to Indivisible National’s Unrepresentatives campaign: https://www.unrepresentative18.org/#signup

Hold the presidency.  Arizona was one of the top four most closely decided states in 2020. If we were to hold Arizona but lose the other three -- Nevada, Wisconsin, and Georgia -- the Republicans would still lose the presidency. If we hold Arizona down, we eliminate all but the most unlikely outcomes for the 2024 presidency.
