POSTCARD UPDATE

Indivisible National has endorsed Kamala Harris along with a multitude of other national and grassroots groups including Healdsburg Indivisible. Let us support and ride the momentum! There is still plenty of work to be done to flip the House and retain the Senate.

Last month our postcard writers sent 1420 postcards to voters in Ohio to retain Sherrod Brown in the Senate and to voters in CA-47 in support of Dave Min.

This month we are supporting Adam Gray former California Assembly member in CA-13 in the effort to flip the House and replace the current MAGA congressman. If you would like to meet Adam Gray, he will be in Sonoma County on Friday, August 30 at 6:00 pm. The Oakmont Democratic Alliance will host a fundraiser for Adam Gray at the Berger Center in Oakmont, featuring a buffet dinner and music by First Light jazz trio. Special guests will include Congressman Mike Thompson. Assemblyman Damon Connolly, and actor and activist Peter Coyote among others. Our second campaign is in support of Democrat Chris Deluzio in both his return to the House and educating voters in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania.  Elected in 2022 he is serving his first term in Congress representing PA-17.  He is an Iraq War veteran, voting rights attorney, union organizer and an Annapolis graduate.

It is still necessary to flip the House and retain the Senate.  Opponents will not disappear nor will their goal of implementing Project 2025.  Now is our chance to thoroughly stifle their fire!

Our goal for this critical election year is to send as many postcards as possible, in crucially important campaigns, to educate and register voters to preserve our democracy.

As 2024 begins, we will be concentrating on voter education and voter registration, with a focus on California House members designated by Indivisible as the Unrepresentatives.  The Unrepresentatives campaign is a program dedicated to targeting and unseating these members by exposing the truth of their MAGA complicity and by calling attention to their voting records, as well as their positions on issues damaging to democracy.

We will also support the Northeast Arizona Native Democrats as they work within their communities to educate and register voters in Arizona, perhaps the most important battleground in 2024.
